Easy 5 minutes mint and coriander yogurt dip with pomegranate

This super quick and easy dip / yogurt sauce is the perfect accompaniment for many dishes from spicy curries to meat dishes to summery salads.

Chile con carne too spicy? Yogurt dip!

The dip adds freshness and cleanses the palate while being super delicious in its own right.

Ingredients

  • 150ml (3/4 cups) plain yogurt
  • 10g fresh cilantro
  • 10g fresh mint
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 pomegranate
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of white pepper

Instructions

    Ingredients for Mint & Coriander Yogurt dip with pomegranate
  1. chop coriander and mint
  2. mince garlic
  3. place the above in a bowl and mix with olive oil to extract the aromatics and flavours. Let sit for 2 minutes.
  4. sprinkle with sugar, salt and white pepper.
  5. squeeze juice from 1/2 lemon over it, stir.
  6. stir in 150ml of yogurt.
  7. add pomegranate seeds. Ready :)
